Coronavirus (COVID-19) Information

Youth Outreach Ministry camp leaders are monitoring information from the Centers for Disease Control and public health officials regarding the coronavirus COVID-19. At this time, we are still planning for camp as scheduled. A healthy environment is always our primary goal through practices designed to prevent the spread of germs. Recommended CDC protocol will advise additional preventative steps. We are committed to providing a safe, healthy, and fun camp experience.

Health and Wellness

We realize there is a great deal of concern right now about the Coronavirus; you likely have questions about Sports Center Day Camp and efforts to manage it. We want you to be assured that the health of our campers and staff is our highest priority.

Has Sports Center Day Camp made changes to any of its scheduled camps for the summer?

No. At this point, we are planning to make the scheduled camp programs available for this summer. We are continuing to monitor this rapidly changing situation and will update here as needed.

Has anyone at Sports Center Day Camp acquired COVID-19?

No staff or guests have acquired COVID-19 as of this date.

What precautions are Sports Center Day Camp taking to guard against acquiring COVID-19?

We are attentively working with local public health department agencies and following recommendation from the CDC. Preventative measures, including heightened disinfecting and sanitary procedures, have been taken to promote a healthy environment on our campus.

Any other thoughts for us as we plan to attend camp?

We do ask that all potential campers be symptom-free of fever and respiratory illness for at least twenty-four hours before arriving at camp. Thank you for working with us to ensure the health of our campers, staff, and community. We look forward to seeing you this summer.
