Day Camp
Featuring the Sports Center on PCC campus

Youth Outreach Ministry will host Sports Center Day Camp this summer for children ages 6–12. The camp will use the PCC campus facilities, including the Sports Center, Swim Center, Field House, and dining hall. Campers will have the opportunity to participate in many activities such as swimming, waterslides, miniature golf, Ping-Pong®, and ice skating. Those ages 8–12 will also go bowling. Children may enroll for a week, a month, or for the entire summer.

The physical welfare of each camper is always of utmost importance. In addition to the team leaders’ supervision, a lifeguard is at the swimming pool during all swim periods, and supervisors monitor all the activities in the Sports Center. Lunch, snack, and a rest time are included in the daily schedule.

Bible truths are taught to lead youth to a knowledge of Christ. The Bible gives the best light for this life and the only hope for the life to come. No other book can so enrich the minds and hearts of young people as the Bible.


Cost Summer 2015

One-Time Registration Fee of $25 per camper if registered by the Thursday preceding camp; $30 per camper if registered after that time or at the door on Monday. (Fee is nonrefundable and nontransferable.)

Registration fee needs to be paid only once per child for the summer months, regardless of the number of weeks the child attends.

Camp Fee of $115 per camper per week, including activities, lunch, and afternoon snack. This fee must be paid by the morning of the first day of each camp week. No refunds are available if a child attends any part of a week. For your convenience, you may also pay ahead of time online or at the Cashier’s Office, located on the first floor of the Administration Building on the Pensacola Christian College campus.

Extended Care is available from 3–5:30 p.m. for an additional $25 per week. A separate form is required for extended care. Please note that extended care activities are subject to change.

A surcharge of $10 will be made if a child is not picked up by 5:30 p.m. The surcharge will be increased to $20 if a child is not picked up by 5:45 p.m. and will be increased to $30 if a child is not picked up by 6 p.m. Those who pick up the camper from extended care will be required to show a photo I.D.

The week of July 4 camp will meet only Monday through Thursday June 29–July 2. The camp fee will be $95 per child ($20 for extended care) for this week only.

Camp hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.–3 p.m. Doors open at 7:30 each morning at the PCC Sports Center, 250 Brent Lane. Register early to guarantee space! Sign Up online or print and complete the sign-up form, marking the weeks your child will attend. To make changes to your sign up (add or cancel a week), call our office or notify the Day Camp director by the Thursday prior to that week.


What to Bring

Please have child’s name on each item.

  • Swimwear and towel
  • Small tote bag
  • Light jacket/gloves for ice skating
  • Socks (for bowling/ice skating)

What Not to Bring

Children should not bring: electronic devices (including cell phones), personal bowling ball or ice skates, or food to be shared with other campers including birthday cakes, cookies, etc. (campers may bring their own sack lunch).
